3100 enjoying dance at Aarhus-venues

"Dance is an art that is more and more common in Aarhus. Ithas gone from being the stepchild to being a fully grown member of the Aarhus family of fine arts," says Jens Bjerregaard who is the artistic director of Koreografisk Center Archauz in Aarhus.
Four different venues in Aarhus - Musikhuset Aarhus, Entréscenen, Granhøj Dans and Archauz - have presented dance during the past weeks, almost simultaneously.

One percent of Aarhus watched dance
And the high supply of danceperformances has not in had any bad effect on the sixe of the audience. On the contrary, no less than 3100 persons have enjoyed dance throughout the last half of October.
"That is more than one percent of the citys inhabitants. And that number shows strong progress in the developement of the dance-audience in this city and region," explains Jens Bjerregaard.
