To develop dance, it is necessary that Archauz is locally based and that Archauz benefit of Aarhus' many cultural and artistic opportunities. Cooperation with the local environment is the alpha and omega of a place like Archauz. Archauz is inviting the local artists to the so-called Archauz Cultural Dinners, where you in cozy settings are listening to each others concern and needs, to create as favorable collaborations as possible.

2. Working across genres

Archauz 'profile should primarily focus on dance, but Archauz is of the opinion that it is important that Archauz is an open space, creating space for mutual inspiration and collaborations across art genres, and therefore Archauz has for the coming season concluded some exciting work with artistic colleagues representing other arts, just as Archauz naturally maintains fruitful collaborations that already works.

Archauz has in the current and upcoming season entered into close cooperation with the Aarhus-based theater group Von Baden. Von Baden is a well known and recognized theater that shows quirky, innovative and worked through theatrical productions locally and nationally. Von Baden's latest production The righteous will premiere at Archauz in the spring 2011.

Over the past three years Archauz has opened their doors to famous Aarhus SPOT festival, presenting new Danish and Nordic music. .

A similar partnership has been concluded with the festival for International Living Theatre, ILT. Archauz helps to ensure that dance is well represented at the festival.

Last but not least, Archauz and Aarhus Festival are in close and permanent cooperation during the Festival Week, where Archauz is one of the scenes, offering experiences in Aarhus Festival Week.
